Credible Law Enforcement Organization (CLO) Certification

A Credible Law Enforcement Leader is a professional that protects and serves through “Ethical Leadership” (knowledge, skills, practices, and actions) with a full sense of automatic accountability, responsibility and reliably.  They are exemplary men and women who regardless of their rank take a 360 degree approach to ethical leadership in everything they do.

This certification begins when an employee of a criminal justice agency becomes a Certified Credible Leader (CCL) through the Commission. The organization is then automatically enrolled as a Credible Law Enforcement Organization in Development. For an organization to become fully certified as a CLO, the organization must meet criteria set forth by the Commission.
